AI Clinical Operations Specialist (Prescription Navigator)

Served as a critical clinical human-in-the-loop (HITL) for an AI-native healthcare platform, auditing automated specialty prescription workflows and bridging the gap between clinical logic and machine learning output.

What I work on

• •Partner with engineering teams as a clinical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to review, audit, and validate AI-generated letters of medical necessity and appeals, maintaining a 0% error rate.
• •Analyze and extract unstructured clinical data from Athenahealth EMR/EHR charts (Gastroenterology and Dermatology) to provide clean data inputs for automated model training.
• •Synchronize communication between MDs, NPs, patients, and insurers to resolve edge-case denials, using feedback loops to improve the platform's predictive approval logic.
